Grafting

As we age, a reduction in skin hyaluronans, collagen and elastin causes the skin to loose elasticity. Combined with lifestyle factors such as exposure to the sun and toxins, the result is often seen in our face and body through excessive facial wrinkles, small lines or crow’s feet around your eyes, deep wrinkles or furrows in your forehead, or a vertical frown line between your eyebrows. Many people complain that these wrinkles give them an aged or angry appearance.  As well, excessive sagging breasts or buttocks can also be the result of the ageing process in our harsh Australian climate.

A fat grafting procedure transfers fat from areas in which you have excess fat, such as the outer thighs, and injects it into these areas that may be lacking in volume.

What is fat grafting?

During the fat grafting procedure, the fat is harvested from one part of your body, washed and purified, and then carefully re-injected with specially designed needles into the areas that are marked for augmentation. It may be necessary to repeat the fat grafting procedure several times to achieve the final, desired result.
