Is this procedure for me?
If you have experienced sagging, or your breasts have lost their firmness, a breast lift may address these issues.
Sagging can occur from weight loss, breast feeding or natural ageing.
A breast lift procedure involves harnessing existing breast tissue, in order to reshape the appearance of the breast.
A breast lift can be performed without the addition of a breast implant if there is adequate breast tissue.
Dr Gahankari will determine whether or not an implant is required by taking into consideration your preference, and the size and natural proportions of your body.
During the breast lift procedure, Dr Gahankari will reshape the breasts by also removing excess skin. However, if there is inadequate breast tissue to produce a breast of your desired size, an implant may be necessary as part of the procedure.
Breast lift surgery is performed as a day procedure under general anesthetic, however you will need to be collected from hospital by a friend or family member.
