The advanced treatment technologies and cosmeceuticals available to modern day aestheticians means that have an exceptional knowledge of the skin is crucial to understanding how to best use these advanced treatments to benefit your clients. This two day journey will not explore the theory of the skin but also go beyond this and provide you with practical examples of treatment plans for common conditions you may find when analysing your client's skin.
In addition to understanding the skin in greater depth than ever before you will also begin to develop an awareness of how using different treatments together in a structured manner can create even greater benefits than each treatment would achieve on its own.
Day 1

- Anatomy and physiology of the skin covering cells and systems of the epidermis and the dermis
- Analysis of cell structure
- Malfunction of the cell and the effects
- Function of cell membrane
- Function of acid mantle
Day 2
Day Runs: 9.30am – 5pm
- Wound healing
- Pigmentation
- Ageing skin
- Acne
